TWO RIVERS HEAD START

This daycare facility for the Two Rivers Head Start program is a large, 18,000 sf buildout consisting of 3 infant and 4 toddler rooms, a large gross motor skills room, meeting rooms, administrative offices and a food pantry. The buildout is located in a large former strip mall and entailed the creation of a rear outdoor, fenced-in play area with rubberized surface. The biggest challenge of this project was designing the space to accommodate strict DCFS standards for exiting the building and providing fire protective corridors.
