Water's Edge Grand Opening

The new Water's Edge Apartments have recently been completed and are now open for business! This 50 unit apartment complex, located, as its name suggests, on the east shoreline of the Fox River in downtown South Elgin, is a welcome addition to the growing suburban Chicago village. It provides a beautiful, affordable housing alternative to local residents. In addition, half of the 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units are dedicated to the developmentally disabled, under the management of Association for Individual Development (AID).

This has been a very challenging project from its inception over two years ago, through the zoning process, the difficult site and soil conditions and through construction. The good news is that all the challenges have been overcome and this high demand project is up and running. How "in demand" was this project? The units were fully leased out within days of its opening!
