DOOR COUNTY RESIDENCE

(a joint project with Edward J. Shannon III, AIA)

This Door County residence won an Honors Award for Excellence from the American Institute of Architects. This outstanding site, situated on a hilltop overlooking Sister Bay, called for extensive windows to enjoy the views. The intersecting geometric forms and extensive use of wood and stone combine to create a powerful contemporary design that has a warm and comfortable feel that blends well with it’s wooded site.
